If they are in college, they are old enough that they should be able to have anyone they want spend the night! Why do people still get treated like children once they are no longer legally minors? That is just silly. By the way, I'm 21, "college age"and I have my own apartment am "allowed" to let whoever I want stay over.
Reply:I think they should. College is the time you are supposed to be becoming and adult and coming into your own and making your own decision. You have to learn to not only be smart about who you are letting stay in your living space, but also about courtesy and working things out with roommates / dormmates.

I also do not think there should be a guideline on the sex of the guest, as that is another decision that you need to learn to make for yourself. And again it comes down to courtesy for your roommate as to how they feel about having a strange man / woman that they do not know in their room.

The college I went to did not allow overnight guests, but the R.D. and the R.A.'s did, as long as we were responsible about it. And out of the 146 people that live on campus, there was only ever one incident of a fight or guests getting out of control the year I was there.
Reply:Yes. If they are the same sex.
Reply:idk i am not in collage yet
