Does anyone know how to invite a roommate on the PSP version of The Sims 2?

I've already beat the game, but I never finished the goal of inviting my first roommate. Does anyone know how to do this?

yeah you have to first be friends with the person you want to invite over then call them on the phone and click invite over roomate and click on the person you would like to invite over
