How do you get a mixi invite?

I'm set to study in Japan pretty soon...


But I don't know anyone here that currently uses the site; but I've heard it's extremely popular.





Is there a way to get an invite even if you don't live in Japan? If so, how?
How do you get a mixi invite?
You need to find a person who is already a member of Mixi.

I've invited one guy who asked about mixi on Yahoo!Answers.


We exchanged a few mail, then I invited him though.





I remember someone posted same kind of questions before.


And they seemed invited already through Yahoo!Answers.


If you want to be a member NOW, probably it would be a good idea to contact the ones who answered in the past.
