Can you invite a guest to play online on Call of Duty 4 PS3?

My buddies and I had two tv's, two PS3's, two copies of the game, but we were unable to get the two tv's to have split screen and play online. Two of us were registered online users, two guests. Any help?

I forget all the steps but make sure your friend and you are both playing the game. Go to like private match or something and select what kind of match you want, the time limit, etc.... then click invite a friend and a screen will pop up of all your friends and click on his name.





Your friend will recieve a message while he has call of duty loaded and it will say X has invited you to play a game and you accept or decline.





He joins and you start playing.
Reply:You can't. LAN party only works 1 person per PS3. I tried it last night!
Reply:Yeah if you mean a friend with a ps3 then yes... to invite them they have to be on your friends list, online and playing call of duty 4
