How to invite my mom to the United States?

She lives in Kazakhstan, next to Russia. I got married a year ago, but I still did not get my document for the Green Card. I am expecting a baby in October and I really want to see my mom when I'll give a birth. (for the period of one month)
How to invite my mom to the United States?
Sending your Mom an invitation letter is not a bad idea but the interviewing officer will not give too much weight on it.

You can have her apply for a visitor's visa. Keep in mind that the service does not look at what you have here in the U.S. The "burden of proof' is on your Mom. First, she have to show proof of her "ties" in her country like good-paying job, properties or a house that she owns, other assets, and family.

She have to prove to the service that the purpose of the trip is really temporary and that she has no reason to overstay but merely to visit and be with you when your child is born. Congratulations and good luck to you!
Reply:Just tell her to come over...

The US government doesn't really care who comes to this country...

WELCOME!!!
Reply:She will need to apply for a tourist visa. You can find more information on this at www.visajourney.com

Good luck!
